How many hours of sleep do you get at night?
4 hours
About Me:
Retired 1 yr ago from senior management job in international trade (12 hrs/dy working routine) due to health reasons - seemingly mental. Suddenly found myself with nowhere to go and nobody to talk to.. My body seriously aching all over due to long time lack of sleep, not resting. Have heart arrhytmias. Prediabetic condition turned to Type 2 diabetis 6 months ago; taking diabetis medicine (Metformin 1000 mg/day). Can not exercise because of lack of strength. Lost 20 lbs of weight in last 6 months, though I did not have excess weight. Now at unhealthly low weight of 156 lbs (height 5'10). Sleep pill no more effective.
Need to sleep..

First i would ask if you have had a sleep study?
with the cardiac arrhythmias, type 2 diabetis and aching body.
is there anyone that can say or can you say if you snore.

Sleep apnea has been linked to the start of type 2 diabetis and can add to the cardiac arrhythmia problem.
by not resting completely the muscles in your body will ache.
in sleep apnea also the sleeping pills might help you sleep but your body will have an increased number of apnea events you might be having.

do not consider you size in this weight can be a factor but not in all cases, one of my worst patient was 5-6 and 100 lb very in shape young lady.

I would check with your physician on getting a full sleep study to check for sleep apnea.
